Neda is amazing. She always sees "beyond" somehow. I was just thinking today -- a random, stray thought -- how lucky for us, and for her that Neda found her passion in this lifetime. Now that I've seen her work, I can't imagine a world without her collage art.
Rima, thank you for posting my little contribution.I apologize for not contributing more in this exciting project (time is such a fleeting commodity these past few days).
Thank you for seeing a bright message in this rather obscure collage. The way it turned out made me think of a guilded trap of some sort...It's interesting that Frances picked up on it. Smart woman :)
Debi, I could say the same thing about you. Your unique vision is a true gift, a blessing in this world where most of us prefer to shut our eyes. Rima and I are the ones who are truly lucky to have you in our lives.
Thank you all so much....Now, I have to run ...(away??)
When this image came into view on my reader, I knew immediately it was Neda's. She has a definite style, and by that I don't mean the outward view, but the inward one that you get when you see her work.
I really like this image! Yes, it sure does look like a Neda image ... it has been so fun to look at people's work on this image - both here and their blogs!!
dear rima, the message you left at my blog was sweet and kind, and i recognize your sincerity. i appreciate the camraderie developing here. what kind of sticker would you like for your sticker book? ~sue
Rima, so honoured by your kind vists to my blog. I promise to read your photoshop classes very attentively (just when I find a space in this hectic life!!). I see you shrae with your sister your generosity showing us how to come up with new techniques.
Take a look at what's happening atMaraya Galleries, Neda's amazing work atPapiers Collés (Blogger's Blog of Note) and Fawzan's wonderful watercolour diary at artEzan.

Another wowie - love that use of the door - very dark image somehow.

Naddoud, actually, I found your image sad but moving. I thought about this line from "Sound of Music" as an antidote to depression ;-p
You do have your own idiosyncratic style, such a window into your psyche
i love this image. the inside/outsideness of it and how she used all the different elements to create a totally new whole. wunderbar!
